Yes , Cows (most breeds) have horns, but this is a bull, not a cow, and thats "No Bull!!" Den

Horns don't denote gender, but on closer inspection the dewlap might.

In fact, the stroppiest cattle are often poll (ie don't grow horns) cows .. I grew up punching poll herefords (the red ones with white faces) and the bulls were largely aimiable buggers - but you'd never get betwixt a cow and her calf! Strangely, the horned hereford cows are less aggressive. Buildwise, hereford cows are good, solid types - not a lot different to bulls, 'cepting the obvious.

I'm sippin' a nice Coonawarra merlot tonight - Leconfield vineyard, straight off fabulous terra rossa soil, nice and full with a delciously dusty nose .... mmmm-mmmm! You'd be welcome to share, but it's a bit of a swim ....
