Scotty....Spoke to Rose....she seemed a bit out of it, she said her daughter had been doing all the reservations and deposits for the bash. I gave her my card number and even heard the little modem sound in the background of the card going thru :? . Not sure she asked me for my forum name though :?: Then she said i was all set and she'd see me in May.
See, I told you guys, half the time I dont know what I'm talking about.

Rose is familiar with trappers, fur traders, and outdoorsmen. She is just a little reserved and demure with outsiders. She is a great hostess. Central Park Hotel sounds classy eh?

I am planning to attend, but I won't have any deposit money until February (Christmas this year completely and utterly wiped me out)

Johnny

With all due respect for Rose, I had the same problem.
Call back and ask for Beth, and ask her to make sure you've all squared away, FWIW.

Are there any vacancies left anywhere near there?
I'm in, w/ MLW, I just need to find a place for us to stay for a couple of nights.

Shoot scottybooj a pm and find out where the overflow can lodge nearby. There may be others in the same boat that he has directed to a certain location.

Hey guys, i'm sure a shirt for this year's bash is in order. I don't have the artistic skill to draw one up. Any volunteers for this task? I can help with finding a printer. Only thing is that here in NY, fees will be more than other places.

Also, people who did not get a room at the hotel have had PMs sent to them. If they don't respond soon, I will send out pms to others who are looking for a room.

Overflow

Post by scottybooj »

OK, two secret rooms were made available to our group. I gave those two rooms to two gents who had gotten 'locked out' of rooms at our host hotel.

I am trying to gauge the demand for overflow. Please reply to me by PM or this post if you would be interested in attending. That way I can have our hosts help us with nailing down the other local inns to give us rooms.

Come one, come all!

BTW, I will be writing this Bash up and submitting it to BMW MOA ON. I would like a volunteer to snap some photos. Doesn't DYSKYZD have a fancy shmancy picture taker?

Hey, Is there a Bash this year? Wow!

Can I come? Is it too late to get in the group?

I wish! You're thinking of Chibbert. He did post some quality shots from the last Bash. Not only does he have a fancy shmancy picture taker, he's got socks too, and knows how to use both!
