I have both the bar-backs and an aftermarket windshield. These are always subjective but for me I would not ride without either.

I am 6' tall and my riding style and posture is decidedly more touring than sport. I bought my bike with the BMW sport shield and replaced it in short order. I have a Aeroflow screen (tall) with the tank wings and am very happy with the product. I cannot remember the brand of bar-backs. I can ride until I have to fill the tank up without problems in my wrist, butt or neck!! Though it is nice to stretch the legs for 5 minutes or so... Then I am ready for another stretch of road!! :D :D

For the type of screen I have see aeroflowscreens.com. I know I do not have either the GenMar or the Wunderlech barbacks. Maybe SW Motech but that is off the top of my head...

Do not know how much help this info will be but there it is...

Thanks for the info...
I like the look of the sport screen, wish I could get it to work for me with a laminar lip or similar device. The Aeroflows are a bit pricey... but look like a quality product.

Parabellum makes nice, good quality shields for BMWs.
