2002 R1150R handelbars
Hi, I'm new here, just bought an R1150R. I haven't taken delivery of it yet and it's in another town. Can somebody tell me what diameter the handlebars are? I want to get a cup holder for it. Anybody have a suggestion for a good cup holder?
Thanks, Ray
Thanks, Ray

Hey Ray...Welcome..and congrats on the new bike...Mine's also an 02 model....What color is it?
Just wondering..What's the cup holder for?...btw..You may be able to mount a cup holder on one side ..and an ash tray on the other side..
Here's a link to a nice self leveling cup holder.. http://r1150r.org/board/viewtopic.php?t=10487

Hey Ray...Do you own a CamelBak.. http://www.camelbak.com/index.cfm ..they work well...look cool..and work like an air-bag for your back if you crash..

I met a guy a few weeks ago in Wisconsin that had a camelback, said it was really the nuts. I've never used one but I bet if I did much riding in 85 degree plus weather, I would definately want to have one.
I have to agree with who-ever suggested getting a cupholder with a Goldwing or Electraglide attached to it, however, it's your bike and you should do whatever suits YOU.
