I remember when my (now 7 month old) son was that small. I thought he was so tiny, fragile, I was afraid I'd break him. I'm glad I took lots of pictures, because he is now 22 lbs at 7 months! It's almost time for a new car seat.

Congratulations. He's a handsome boy.

Congratulations Carol! What a sweetheart he is. I hope your son and his family live close to you so you can enjoy and spoil little Jack as much as you possibly can. He does look a bit like you, doesn't he?

Congrats!

Thank you all for your warm wishes and helpful hints*.

I am discovering this gradparent stuff is great. No diapers, no nursing, no loss of sleep...why, I don't even worry....

I just get to enjoy him.

Planning for his mini bike when he reaches age 6-or 7.

My son and his wife look like they could be related....(no we are not in Rural Oregon)....So Jack just looks like 'one of us'.

they live about 15 miles from us....just far enough to be on thier own, but close enough we can have Sunday dinner. (when we're not riding).

Again, Many thanks for the good wishes and for letting me brag.!!

Nice looking boy!

I used to wonder what the attraction of grandchildren was for grandparents. While I have not been blessed yet (and we can put that off for a while too boys!), I now realize it is the ability to have all the fun, spoil them rotten and then give them back and suffer no consequences! 8) Looking forward to it. :)
