Great stuff.. :smt023

If you're a Blues fan...do yourself a favor and buy this new DVD/CD from Kenny Wayne Shepherd....'10 Days out..Blues from the backroads'...it's brilliant IMO.

I think it's been released for a couple of months in the US but is impossible to buy down under..so thanks to Amazon I got my copy in the mail last week.

Anyone who likes Steve Ray Vaughan will love Kenny..I've been a big fan since his Ledbetter Heights first album in 95....

btw there's a nice little vid from his new DVD on the Amazon site for those wondering what it's like...

Just click here.. http://www.amazon.com/Days-Out-Blues-Ba ... 054&sr=8-1 ...only $22 for both DVD and CD is a great price.

Kenny tracked down some of the greats and jammed with them..in their living rooms, porch's, back yards..even local Church's...there's classic stuff..and it's well fimed.

Many of these guys are in their 70's, 80's and 90's..and some have passed away after doing this dvd...the interviews are great...music is brilliant...so..if you like Blues.

KWS is pretty good as well. Got to see him open for Van Halen back in 1998.

SRV - such a tragic loss. I usually saw him everytime he came to town. After watching those videos, I really miss seeing him play.

SRV is a GOD

As a listener and player of SRV...I don't have the slightest inclination to appreciate anything about Stevie playing the song Superstition. I personally don't find it to be anything resembling the blues. I can only guess that Stevie must have done this song as a favor to someone.
