Just curious - how old are we? Obviously far from scientific research, but it is nice to see where we stand.

At the time of writing my own odometer stands at nearly 33 years old.

Old enough to know better, but not not old enough to care.

Old enough to be a gray-beard but mentally, still a 20-something in 'man-years'! (Meaning I refuse to grow up!)

Well...a tried and true baby boomer here. Have seen 50 summers but heck, have just recently figured out what I want to be when I grow up---a traveler, an explorer, a writer, a photographer, a rider. All of which can be done with the able accomplice of my R1150R. Doesn't get much better..... :D

56 here. This poll confirms what I suspected. Bikers are getting old.

The average age of "bikers" are getting older only because of all the middle aged riders that are entering this hobby for the first time and buying Harleys. I think this is the segment that is increasing the average age of the motorcyclist. I also saw a statistic that showed the average age of motorcyclist fatalities to be surprisingly high. Once again increased by the novice cruiser rider as explained by the study.

I don't think the demographics of the BMW rider has changed that much. We have always been older than say the average rider of a GSXR or a CBR.

I am 42. Which looks like would place me in the middle of the bell curve looking at the poll result.

I'm VERY surprised that there are not more in the 60 - 69 group.

Another 2 1/2 years and you can add me

........ but I still 'think' that my age is 20....ish :D

Checking in at 34 on the NC coast, started riding when I was 33.
I guess I am part of that group Oilhead is talking about except I was smart enough not to fall for the hype and bought a BMW! Be safe.

Johny_L I think you are quite possibly the youngest one here. I bought my 1150 right when I turned 23 near the end of 2005. My first bike. Granted the bike isn't as fast as my buddies GSX/Rs or Ninjas but I can ride mine for more than an hour

Golfing sucks. As a businessman people are constantly trying to get me to learn golf to further my company's potential. If I ever become a billionaire and people are seeking to do business with me, I'll tell them to show up somewhere on the BRP on a motorcycle and then we'll talk.

Oh yeah. I just turned 39 this month. Yikes! I'm getting old...

I bet the sixties guys are busy golfing.
Among my friends, they are the ones retired and are out riding!

We had a 79 year old ride to breakfast Sunday in 30-degree temperatures.

And golfing sucks! I also have had people try to get me interested. If you have time to golf, you have time to ride! :P

And Yong - 39's old?!? Ha!
