Riding Pants for Short Riders

Post by mad1150 »

I am trying to find a pair of Textile Riding Pants w/CE armour for my vertically challenged wife. (She would say Short & Fat pants!)

Tourmaster's Venture Pant is available in Mens Short XL 36-38/30L which she's going to try, but I'm worried that the CE armour will not be in the right position due to the extra length.

She really needs about a 36-38 waist and a 28-29 inseam.

Anybody else out there have this problem or better yet a solution?

I resemble that remark.
While I dont have a pointer for you, I always find it interesting that I can find 44" / 28" but never 38" / 28". 44/28? Common? Seems so.

I've got the Tour Master Venture pants and I'm not all that tall either and have a similar issue... Anyway, the knee armor can be adjusted up and down as there are velcro closures in 4 positions. She should find a happy medium in there somewhere between standing and sitting position as they do shift. BTW, I think those are great pants for the money ;)

Check out http://www.motoport.com they don't charge extra for custom sizing & 1000 denier cordura or kevlar are available!!! They made a pair to fit my duck-pin shaped self & I'm very happy so far (2 yrs. w/them) hopefully I'll get the matching jacket this yr. Are ya listening Mrs. claus???
