Is there an aftermarket oil filter wrench for a 2000 R1100R or do I need to get it from the dealership?

I have the genuine BMW one..a bit pricey but worth it IMO....you should be able to get an after market one from most auto stores..like Auto barn.

I just changed the oil on my 1150 for the first time. I took the BMW oil filter into Advance Auto and kept trying till I found one that fit. Cost me just over $5.

DJ...I'm too cheap to get it at the dealership if I can help it.
Tukk...thanks. I'll be checking Pep boys.
Paroyboy...I would do the same, but I don't feel like mangling the filter just yet to take it off.
