Ok guys I am new here and I hope this question hasn't been answered in previous posts but here it goes.
I just bought a 2002 R1150R used with 14,000 miles. I love the way the bike rides but have one concern. It has a flat spot between 2000 and 2500 RPM Once past this RPM it is perfect. I am not sure if this is a characteristic of the bike or it has a problem. Any input or suggestions wuld be greatly appreciated. Thank You. Joe

Thank You
The bike is completely stock. I pulled the air filter and plugs and they appear to be new. Throttle body's need syncronizing? I may take it in to BMW and let them figure it out.

DIESELPOWER......forget about the fuel filter for now, too early and is also a pain in the arse.
Do a TB and Idle speed sync, see what that does for your problem. If corrected, I will just look at the plugs and the air filter, not knowing the prior history of the bike.
Good luck, let us know how you make out.....
