Good Bye Roadster-ites

Post by FirstBMW »

I sold the R last weekend.
The 4 year lease was up this August, and buying it out was just not in the cards. I put 40K on in the first three years, and less than 3K this year.
It just did not make sense to keep her.
Sniff Sniff.......I am really going to miss her. She taught me so much, not just about riding either.
Ahh, life goes on.
I sold her to a fine English chap who used to have the same RS for 18 years and plans to use her as a daily commuter.
I know he will take care of her.
I told him to post here, and if he does he may go by the name Ganet.
Now I am bikeless, I won't be lurking around here either.
Keep the rubber side down folks.

C'est la vie. Come back and visit anytime, if for nothing else just to see if we've solved that problem of checking the oil level.
