OT: Rare Ducati only sold on Internet (Year 2000)

Post by dwayne »

Hi guys, I konw this doesn't belong here but I don't know how many of you travel to off topic:

Back in 2000 Ducati released a motorcycle that was only sold on the Internet, it was a remake of an old race bike. Anyone know the name of the bike???
The gentleman that sold me the system cases had one, and now I can't remember what it was called. There are only 11 in Canada, so its rather rare. He also had a Ducati Foggy??? Did I get that right? Never heard of that bike before

A few years ago (maybe 2002) Ducati released a limited edition Foggy Monster...to celebrate King Carl's Super bike sucsess...could that be it?

My BMW dealer is also a Ducati dealer..they had one in their showroom.

MH900
I convinced my wife of the turn around profit on those.
I could not get through to order one.
Their servers kept crashing and it was crazy.

People were offering to try and order for other people on eBay.
IE. Bid to have me try and get through.
IE. Secure the right to buy through me if I win one.

It was INSANE.

No that's not the one, though he has that bike as well. Now not sure if it is THAT bike or a replica. Given this gentlemans collection it may very well be THAT bike.
