Missouri keeps helmet law...

Missouri House Bill 994 which earlier this year passed the full House and the Senate Transportation Committee, failed to be brought up for a Senate Floor vote late Friday afternoon. In a slick maneuver early Thursday the Senate took the bill from the formal calendar and parked it on the informal calendar where it died a slow death.

That state Senate refused to even give Missouri's adult motorcyclists the common courtesy of a complete floor vote on a bill which just might have made it to the Governor's desk.

Whether or not you believe in helmet laws for adult bikers is not the issue here, so PLEASE let's try to avoid a helmet law debate.
