Out of this world BMW service

Post by 1150929 »

Dealer service has always been a pet peeve of mine. Out of over a dozen new cars and bikes, nothing but bad experiences.

But my second BMW dealership is the exception. Budds BMW in Oakville Canada is something else. Last year I went to my first service seminar that they do every year for do it yourselfers, 1st class instruction, finger foods, the whole 9 yards. They do the best demo days, the best new model intro., etc.

Well, every year they draw for a customer bike to be the demo bike. Guess who won this year? ME!! A free 10000km service to boot with pick up!!!!!!! WOW! :D

Meanwhile, when I take my Honda in for service, at the same dealer where I bought three new bikes, I'm lucky to get a smile.

Just though I'd share. Anyone else with extraordinary BMW service stories?

I was in the hospital last July after I crashed my Roadster. The police took the bike wherever they take it to...and I was in the trauma unit.

Keith the GM at DeSimone Motorcycles in Cherry Hill NJ (formerly BMW of Cherry Hill) took care of everything when I called him.

Picking up the bike, all the insurance details, estimates, repairs... everything. He even shot an email to my friends here letting everyone know I was OK.

Thanks Keith.

Wolf BMW in London Ontario is without peer when it comes to service.

They are the best. I have many good stories that all end with Wolf saving the day.

Budds service... good to hear.

Post by phreakanature »

I just bought my R1150R from Budds in December. With the mild winter I got out on it a few times, but can't wait to get out on it for longer rides in the coming weeks.

It's good to hear positive experiences at Budds. The overall feel of the place is impressive. So far, I have only experienced the purchase side. I'd be interested in attending some of their events. I'll have to have a look at their site to see when the next one is.

Cheers. Pete

It's all about Sierra BMW in Sparks NV. All the floor people and mechanics go above and beyond for everyone. Check the rest of this board and you'll see them mentioned in a positive light from members around the world.
