I'll drink to that! Looks Great, I really like the windscreen, I believe DJ has the same one, I am going to try and install one on mine this summer, (do you know what mounts that are required?). Thanks, Den

actually, DJ has a modified F650GS flyscreen. The one I have is the official R1150R flyscreen (speedster). The guy I bought it from had painted it silver like that.

Regards!

Owen,

That looks really great. And I haven't seen a red one in while.

Beauty.

$150 for the powder coating
$60 for the tire and bearing work at a local indie BMW shop.

yeah, me too. nice surprise. but that also left the removal of the wheels and valve covers, removal of the brake rotors, and reinstallation to me. if you get this done, make sure you clean out the threaded holes in the wheels after the powder coating, run a tap down them, then reapply the red loctite!

Beautiful!
I can't tell though: are they high gloss or a satin finish?

It's a 20% gloss. I was kinda trying to blend into the existing black textured plastic, while not going totally flat. It worked well in person. Maybe once all this snow melts and we get back into normal temps I'll retake the pics with some better detail.
