PK Graphics is a large, well respected printer in Miami. What would make one think they are were the originator of the BBC fake?

Now I think this topic has been beaten to death. I know it was posted in jest, not designed to hurt. But as rdsmith3 said, "Humor is very subjective."

Jonathan - I have to fly to Germany early Saturday morning - sorry we won't be able to meet up in London. I do plan to rent a bike in Germany. Take care.

There will always be attempts at humour wrapped around human tragedy. And typically it is not meant to make light of the tragedy, but to bring to the surface the questions that always arise when tragedy ensues.

I find this attempt at humour no more shocking than DeNiro's appearance on Saturday Night Live where he made fun of the names of Arab / Islamist terrorists - the guys who have killed innocent Americans, Israelis, Canadians, and countless other nationalities.

BobFV1, you might like to know that the BBC has come in for some very pointed and savage criticism by the British government of it's anti-American feeling and portrayal of the effects of Katrina on the Southern USA. I think a few departmental heads have been dragged to Downing Street and been given a right dressing down by Tony Blair.

Great to hear we (USA) have friends and allies despite all the rhetoric and speculation to the contrary!

I bet the BBC is busy with the IRA story! I am a bit dubious but hope it all works out.

You've always had allies here.

I think that when the Queen asked for the "Stars And Stripes" to be played outside Buckingham Palace at the Changing Of The Guard the day after 9/11 (that being the first and only time another nation's anthem had ever been played at that event) represented the true feeling of the average Brit - and that hasn't altered.
