Sargent Front Seat + Stock Rear??

Post by MattPie »

Oh crap. I just ordered a Sargent front seat, but not the back. The Sargent guy alluded that it wouldn't fit with the stock rear. Anyone have the stock rear with a Sargent front?

I have the Sargent front and stock rear. It fits perfectly and works like a charm. Mine is an '03 R1150R. Best aftermarket $300 I've ever spent on the bike.

Sounds like somebody wanted to sell somethin' you don't need.

Sargent Front Seat and Stock Rear

Post by neevee »

I have the Sargent front seat and stock rear on my Rockster and they fit together fine. The Carbon FX is also a close match with the look and feel of the stock material used.

The Sargent seat is a great upgrade over the original for long range comfort.

It worked fine on my RR, and if you don't usually have a back seat rider, there is no reason to get a $200 back seat!
