I've gotten a ton of great info from this site and I can't thank you guys enough.
Rode bike two times today and I can't get enough. Never want to get off of it. I know most of the time we are asking for help with problems but I just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed the bike since I bought it. Every time I ride it I can't help thinking how lucky I am. Sounds sappy but it is what it is. You know what I'm saying.

Re: Smile every time
I believe I know how you feel.
I still can't get enough of my Rockster (although I've not ridden much it for the past year or so).

Re: Smile every time
I was stuck in traffic today and rolled up next to a lady in a Jeep Liberty with the windows down enjoying the 80 degree F weather in South Carolina. I glanced over as we were inching along and she yelled out, "Nice bike."
I told her thank you and that it keeps me young.
She then noticed it was a BMW bike and then she went, "Oh, it's a BMW!".
That's actually the second time in the past 2 months a lady has commented about BMW bikes in an almost cooing fashion. Is this a regular reaction from most folks?

If they're in a BMW car I feign surprise & ask "Do they make cars as well ?"ekyang wrote:I was stuck in traffic today and rolled up next to a lady in a Jeep Liberty with the windows down enjoying the 80 degree F weather in South Carolina. Re: Smile every time
great post, I feel the same.
The other day, I was using the huge saddlebags to pick up groceries. And older gentleman on a yamaha scooter pulls up. "that is a gorgeous machine" he could not believe it was an 02. "looks futuristic" LOL then told me I "should be really proud of that bike"
then went on to tell me all about his scooter he bought at retirement, a 250... he's ridden the HELL out of it. Rode it to florida.... 120,000 miles. broken about 20 different parts..his mechanic told him to "stop putting parts in this thing and go get a bike for as many miles as you ride"
I dispatched him to the nearest bmw dealer.
