aftermarket steeting damper recall

Post by jkhomes »

I have not seen any discussions on this board about using the Ohlins aftermarket steering damper, but it seemed like a good idea to post this since it is for the units made for R1200R's. There is a recall.

Thanks for the heads up, yes I have one.
After reading the piece about the bracket I looked and didn't notice any cracks but will contact Dan Kyle to see if mine is the model that is effected.

Thanks again!

By the way, with all respects,Lost Rider is a fenomenal (in good meanings)driver.I just like Him.Reminds me to my younger age.I was doing the same think, going anywhere, anytime. But I am calming down.?My age ?Probably yes.Seeing Lost Riders photoes allmost tears coming down.I would like to be on his side driving. He is Perfect in R1200R drive. If someone could do it better I will take off my hat.(got to by one ) :D :D
