Question First!
What would you use to safely glue 3 or 4 small pieces of metal as big as a quarter coin on the plastic lead of a GIVI rear topcase? I need a glue that will be outdoor resistant, easy to remove & cleanable if needed to be.
I have this tedious & stressful task these days to design a custom surf board bag in order to carry on my bike my surf board in a relative safe manner along the coast of California in few weeks...
The board is a 4' by 17" old school body-board made of a light and thin wood (0.75")
So the weight isn't a huge issue, the aerodynamic either the way I plan to locate the board on the bike....
The issues are maybe the load visibility from rear, the volume of the object itself, the vibrations on the area in contact with the bike and also to find a SAFE, EASY & FAST way to secure the board bag on the motorcycle.
Because I am going to move often from beaches to beaches I am dreaming of doing it without bungees to save loading time & headaches... with this target in mind I am meditating on using those new super strong fero-magnets conveniently located on the boardbag, then on the GIVI topcase and one the large spare helmet bag on the passenger seat.... those are the contact points in between the board and the bike.
The empty space in between the black helmet bag and the boardbag will be filled by a large bellow pocket full of towels to serve as cushion.
