Givi A240?

Post by vitaminC »

Does anyone have any experience with the Givi A240?

It's a universal screen, but looks like it should be a good fit on the R. Just want to get some of the wind blast off my torso without resorting to the massive buffeting I get with my tour screen.

Not very many options for my Rockster either. Perhaps the Givi could fit it too with just a bit of adjusting. What sort of mounts does it use?

Not sure, as I haven't ordered it yet. I guess I should just place the order and see what happens...

Bought it. Tried it. Doesn't work :( The base is a little too narrow, and mounting on the headlight directly results in instability of the light. Probably could be made to work with some fabrication skills, but I don't have those.

I am looking for a BMW Sport shield with mounts if anyone has one they're not using. I would trade for my BMW touring shield which is in great condition and has all mounting hardware.

I found a complete sport shield on eBay in UK. Paid over £50 though. Even more in $$$$$$. Works pretty well.
