R1200R 2012 - Max lean angle?

Just curious. What is the lean angle (approximately) on the R1200R when the foot peg feelers start to touch? With the balls of my feet on the pegs I've touched the pinkie toe area of my boots (but never the peg feelers) only a couple of times on the R1200R and I wonder what would have been the consequences on another bike (HD Road King - oddly, a bike I admire).

No idea on the angle in degrees, but the only time I've dragged my boot was once when I was just real sloppy with my foot placement. Otherwise, I drag the feelers. Are you sure about your foot placement when you dragged your toe?

Check out the free Android app "Diablo Superbiker" by Pirelli. It uses your phone gps to track your route on Google maps and complies data such as max speed and max lean angle. Heed the warnings though as this thing can get you in trouble if you try to best your last ride. I have a usual ride across a mountain and I had to quit using this app. After you start the app let the phone orient itself just a bit before taking off. It's fun but know your limitations.

While true, I believe the valve covers dragging had more to do with the stock suspension and the fact I was carrying a load rather than my lean angle, I haven't gotten close since I switched to Ohlins. If you do get down that far for fun, just make sure you have a photographer there or it didn't happen.
Haven't scraped anything lately besides my boots when they aren't placed correctly, but I have no feelers on the pegs anymore anyways from the pre-Ohlins days and have improved my riding position so that I can carry more speed through a corner with less of a lean angle on the bike. Still all kinds of fun.... my how I've grown up.

The first time it happened to me was due to bad boot position (too forward) and bad body position (I was pushing the bike down). The second time I had good foot and body position but failed to see/anticipate a downhill decreasing radius turn. My bad, that hope not to repeat. Nonetheless, I think I'll take a plane and shave off that part of my boots.
