That is one fine looking bike and some very nice photographs of one of my favorite places to ride!
I really like your luggage setup too, what bag is that? Ortlieb?

It's true, when compared to a small P&S camera they are quite pricey indeed, but as you know it's no regular P&S. I'd say the image quality is on par with entry level DSLR's from not that long ago.
A real bargain when you factor in it's size.

Thank you sir, it's my first Sony camera and I'm very impressed so far. Never really thought I'd buy a Sony, but they have really listened to photographers wants and delivered with their new cameras. Now when the full frame RX-1 comes out this fall.... that's the holy grail and camera I've been waiting for.
Good luck in your search for your own 12R tomorrow, they can be an elusive critter... ;)

Good suggestion to combine Fall colors and blue water, been a while since I was on the right coast. And to cause Rrider more angst....

Hi LostRider

Yes it is an Ortlieb "Zip n Go" bag. 100% waterproof. Luckily I did not test it on this trip.

VanDan: I was just in Vancouver and Victoria about a month ago! What beautiful coastlines you have there!! I was going to rent a motorcycle and drive up the sea to sky highway, but they didn't have any left, so I had to do it by car. It was absolutely beautiful! One day I will ride (hopefully a R1200R) all the way there!

A few more pictures of my bike, on a trip to Eperlecques (France, Europe). What you see is a large German Bunker (World War II) (assambling place for the V2 bombs ?).
Please forgive me my poor knowledge of the American (English) language, I am not used to speak or write it.

Beautiful wide angle pictures, sir!
What's the name of that color? It looks deeper red than a US model.

Hello Bamblys,
No, I do not think so, I just handled the photo a little bit.
I think the color is "apple red".

Annie and I just completed a trip to UT, NM and AZ. Highlight was watching some buddies compete in the BMW GS Trophy Challenge qualifier in Moab. Southern Utah is God's gift to motorcyclists.

Hello all. Used to be in Brooklyn, but then I could not go for lunch rides like these.
These are from the Blue Ridge Parkway a couple of weeks ago.
