Craigs list

Post by rokinrider »

Local add I saw a twin max for $80 dollars. I'm getting close to my 12k service and my local dealer has shown little interest in me or my motorcycle "sad". I've always done the service on the Harley, I suppose it's time to do more than just adjust valves and change fluids on my R?? :-k
Speed cures all handling problems.

If you want to reduce the cost, I'll split it with you.... you use it, let me use it, I send it back visa vera.... It's not like work needed with this tool is done very often and USPS Priority flat rate box shipping is cheap.
Heck, get a couple other folks in on this and the cost goes way down....

PM me if interested.

Lost is on to something there. The throttle bodies seldom need adjustment. It is reasonable to check them at 12,000 mile interval, but it is a simple thing to do on an R so every 6000 is no sweat; now the RT is a bit more work. Joint ownership of a Twin Max is a great idea.

There's one on CL in LA also, specifically mentioning that they used it for their R1200R (which is why it popped up in my news reader)
