Ok I'll admit I have stupidly stayed committed to one insurance company for all of my needs. Driven mostly by alegance to my agent. We had a broken water pipe on the 2nd floor of the house several years ago and he was a great alli in my fight with the adjuster to get the job done correctly.
Ok now we know I stupid, and my justification, but now I'm thinking I may have to shop around for motorcycle insurance because I just added #5 to the stable. Insert shameless attention monger pic below
So my question to my fellow multiple bike suffers is: What tips do you have for me for minimizing costs, and provider suggestions? Thanks

I just went through my insurance shuffle last summer and stayed with progressive. The rates seem decent, but I've never had to file a claim with them so I can't say how well they are if you bounce your bike down the highway. Uninsured/underinsured is a good idea. I omit collision, my philosophy is if it's my fault I'll eat my stupidity, but if it's stolen I'd like them to get me a new toy.

I have one bike, but it and our autos and homeowner's go through the same provider, which lowers the price. Higher deductible lowers the premium, too.

I have that covered, everthing we own is insured by the same outfit, and your correct it helps. Somewhat. My quick research today revealed a subsatantial savings on the bikes if I moved it to another company. The other side is I probably need to consult with my guy to see what happens with my other policies if I move the bikes
