Winter Warmer

Post by hank »

I haven't been out on my beemer this week because I have had a stinking rotten cold, I dont claim that what you will see in this video has any medicinal properties but it made me feel better.
It is also a very nice warming drink to take when you return home from a long winter bike ride.

Don't add the water (or maybe just a splash), and add only half the honey he used. A cinimon stick is good too.
Get an electric drink heater that you stick right into the glass.
Been doing this for decades.
And for hevans sake use a decent whiskey !

I was right with ya until the cloves arrived. Cloves?

Those things are nasty!

The first time I have ever seen them not with a ham.

This is a bit off topic, but I visited your country for 2 weeks this past Sept. We were in Alberfeldy for 1 and Pitenweem for 1.

I have never enjoyed myself more. The people are wonderful. The country is more beautiful than the postcards promise. Found one of my ancestral starting points on the Black Isle and just to make the post relevant, I also found the whiskey wonderful.

Going back this summer with an old (I do mean old) Air Force buddy to the Isle of Lewis, he's a MacLeod.

I cannot say enough good things about your people and your land.

Cheers,
John
