So sorry to hear about your crash. Glad you are OK. The bike really took a tumble. You are so lucky you didn't follow suit with the bike.

Terrible...completely terrible... Glad to read you are good. The bike is probably not totaled though costly.
Keep us posted.

Bruce,

Makes my stomach just churn looking at those pics. Positive note, you are fine. I would also do what I can to get FULL replacement on metal and body. +5000 on ATGATT! Speedy recovery.

Ouch! Those pictures make me cringe.

Glad to hear you're unscathed.

Sad, sad sad...

glad you are ok. regardless of which brand a good second skin is invaluable! the bike looks a mess but that is replaceable

Definately check out the road crew insurance angle. I had a similar issue in Kingston when a pot hole opened up and helped me to the ground. broke 3 ribs from impact and did about 1k damage to the bike. I filed a claim with the city but was told since I did not notify them that it was dangerous they were not liable....quite cheesy! they did manage to fill the hole the very next day though.....

good luck getting this sorted out and getting a new ride.
