Best GPS unit for the money.

I have a 2000 r1100r now I want to get a GPS unit but dont want to spend $800.00 I do not ride in rain
and if it is I can always take it out what is out there I want to utilize it that I can use it on my car and bike?

If I had to buy a current one I'd probably just go for a NUVI500

cheap and waterproof - they can go for as little as $150 new

They don't have some features needed for extensive wilderness riding but seem to be popular for street riding

my 2cents anyway

TomTom Rider? That is my choice and I am very happy with this little gadget.
