Centre Stand question

I see there are 2 R1100R center stand part numbers.

Desc P/N
One for cast rim 46522330623
One that only applies to spoke wheels 46522335018

My question is - will the one for cast rim fit a bike with spoke wheels ?
I have an R1100RL (spoke wheels) and have an opportunity to buy the 'one for cast rim' type of center stand.
Am not sure what difference is or why - and wanted to see if any of you fine
folks may know ?

You might save me from getting the wrong part!

Hi Andrew,

I suppose the spoke wheels are 18" whilst the cast wheels are 17". Hence this would explain the difference in the center stand. At least it is the only logical explanation. The one for cast wheels will probably not fit a bike with spoke wheels but the opposite may work ...

.. makes sense , thought it was something like this so wanted to run by you.

Will just have to go ahead and order/install new "spoke wheel" center stand, from BMW as theres none of this type of stand available, used or 2nd hand, anywhere.
