Spare auxiliary 12 volt power for r1100r

Post by martygilbreth »

Sorry, I have a 2000 r1100r. What do I have to do to create an auxiliary 12volt circuit for a gps or heated clothing?

Install yourself an aux plug (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do ... g=61&fg=30) or just route wires to the battery (and don't forget a fuse).

Kind regards

If you think you may want to add more electrically-powered gadgets in the future, you may want to add an auxiliary fuse panel. Centech makes a nice one, or you can visit easternbeaver.com for another option.

Have fun!
