R1200R Highest Milelage

Just picked up my new Black RR, just out of interest who has the highest mileage?

I don't think I'll win... but i've got 17,000km (10,500mi) on in 11 months, averaging 1,545km (960mi) per month.

But, being up here in Canada most of that is through snow (just kidding, sort of).

I almost ashamed to confess that I've only ridden mine 21,000km (13,000mi) in two years
... especially since I rode 4,500km (2,800mi) in the first week.

Still, another 3,000km next week and aother 2,500km to the MotoGP will help my mojo.

At least these are all touring miles, and mostly done in bunches of ~700km days ... outback queensland, snowy mountains, northern NSW / Byron bay(twice), Phillip Island Motogp (to, not in the races!), plus some good ~600km day runs outta Sydney.

Recently, probably a month ago I estimated a 72miles per day average since I own my R.

So ! I bought my bike of the 6 or 7 February 2009 and I am now at 11300 miles...soon good for my 12K service.

Which equal to this daily millage radius over Los Angeles county

Clocked at 62 in a 35 on Mulholland but the nice officer wrote me up for exceeding 55 in a 35 so I'd be eligible for traffic school.

mostly around 20 over, mostly on an interstate. believe or not my insurance hasn't really changed. (sshhh)
Glad to see others are havin' fun with lots of miles on their R's.... I can't wait to rack up some more miles in September.

28,200 something miles as of today. I expect by the 27th to have over 31,000 on it.. been pretty steady use since 05/07 when I bought it.

Purchased new August/Septemenber 2007.

I'm at 15,000 miles, 9,000 since Thanksgiving 2008.
