Great dual purpose bike - can use summer or winter, on road or off-road.
100 mph performance and loads of torque so very comfortable cruising in normal traffic.
Low maintenance , reasonably economical and great fun.
I sold my '06 DRZ400S in May '09 and I still miss it even with the new R1200R to bimble along on. The DRZ is a great cheap bike. I rode it all the way around the outer edge of Michigan in 4 days. Sore butt to be sure, but a smile on my face all day.

(100MPH? Mine only got to 75 before it stopped going faster. I must be more overweight than I thought.)

Speedo was a tad optimistic. Reckon it was a true 90. Was happy cruising at 70 (which was probably a true 65).
