back cover for OBC. where do i get one?

Just bought an 07 R1200R and took off the Vstream windshield.

I noticed the OBC does not have the back cover on it. You can see where the wiring harness plugs right into the back.

Naturally I want to get a new cover so that rain, debris, etc doesn't affect it.


Where do i get this from? Will the dealer charge me an arm and a leg for a small peice of plastic?

This is what I am talking about. Should there be a cover? Seems to be in the catalog and BMW site pics.

You may want to post this over in the R1200R forum and maybe you'll get some answers. For some reason, you posted this in the R1100R forum.

I don't own a R1200R but it sure looks like you are missing a cover. Did you ask the previous owner?
