Touratech Windscreen Spoiler

Post by Mort »

I have just been on my first ride out with a Touratech windscreen spoiler fitted. I have the BMW touring screen fitted as standard and found that the windblast at over 80mph was too much. I have considered ‘higher’ screens eg Cee Baileys but they are very expensive here in the UK and I’m not sure I like the look. I got the Touratech spoiler cheap on Ebay (£45) – it’s for a 1200gs but fits fine. I figured that if I didn’t get on with it I would be able to easily sell it on (as the GS is so popular over here). However, I’m keeping it.

I am very pleased with the improvement – the windblast has really reduced and the spoiler doesn’t impede my line of vision as I thought it might. It’s not perfect, there is still a bit of wind noise and blast but it’s a vast improvement.

I also like the look better than a high screen. It can also be unclipped from the screen easily. However, I’m sure it won’t be to everyone’s taste! Pics;

Hi Mort,

Wanted to revive this thread and check to see if you were still using the spoiler? I have a touring screen as well and was considering an after-market Cee but this seemed to be a cheaper and a more versatile solution. I am 5ft 9inches. #

Hey, that thing looks perfect! I think it might fit on my sport screen and take what's left of the wind noise away.

I'm thinking of ordering one. Anyone have any experience with fit on the stock sport screen?
