I've used them on an automobile and I really like them. The stock on the R1150R are too small to support multivex. They would work on an RT though.

I put "BabyMinders" on the inside edges of my mirrors and eliminated the blindspots. They rotate so you can adjust for loading or see what your pillion is doing. They are like 1.5" diameter, convex, stick-on mirrors that are mounted on an angled, rotating base. Mounts with double-sided adhesive tape and available at Advance Auto for a couple of bucks...
After a couple years, they loosened up and began to vibrate, so I inserted a disc of foam under them to steady the image. Works great!
