Call me stupid

Post by NCPadgett »

Can anyone tell me the purpose of the key position that turns the lights on and allows you to take the key out besides making me look stupid in front of my friends at work and running my battery down :?: I am sure there is a legitimate reason but I can't figure it out. Thanks and be safe.

NCPadgett,

It is also a nice feature to have when stranded on the shoulder of a busy highway at night while trying to do repairs, like plugging a rear tire :( .

Do not ask me how I know   .
