Trough of Bowland - Lancashire

Moved here from R1200R forum.....

Nice weather forecast, so took a day off work and had a little jaunt around the fells in the Trough of Bowland.

Started off from Waddington


Up and over the fell


Through the morning mist


And down towards Devils Bridge


Stopped at the bridge for a cup of tea and bacon sandwich and a chat with some of the other lucky bikers. Even had a chat with another r1200r owner who turned up with some pals.

The returned back via Stocks through the Trough.


A great day out on one of the crispest days of the year.

Thanks for the post, it's a great fix for being 'bikeless in China' at the moment. Seems like my favorite weather for riding; below 65F, just overcast enough to prevent sun glare and keep the roads a little clear of the 'look at me' types.
