Re: We have a fantastic bike!
Agreed. My '03 still runs like new. Don't think I'll ever sell it.

Arbee wasn't too far off the mark. You said... I really miss the look, the image, the 'lazy' riding style and just about everything else that goes along with being part of the 'cruiser club' How can you duplicate that with a R? Arbee's suggestion (the VN900...just get another color and get the full ...

Lowlifes are everywhere, in every country, but issues are resolved daily without the need for firearms. We’re nearing 7 billion people in this world so there’s always going to be tragic stories of lowlifes killing innocents. Handing every innocent a gun won’t change that; theyâ...

Well done that man! The 1150R is a great bike - not the quickest nor the best looking bike out there but is capable of doing everything quite well. I've had mine for almost 5 years now and no complaints. I agree with your comments about the sound though - get rid of the cat and fit a Remus can and ...

My Canadian spec '03 (build date March '03) has the SS lines, and the twin spark heads, maybe that was the first month of the switchover. But while I get the whole moisture in the system thing, I still don't get why it's any more of an issue on the bike than a car. Nobody needs to change their brake...

Thanks for the wise advice all, you're a fine bunch. The fluid couldn't be clearer and I do have the SS lines, but I guess I'll still change it since it's year 2. Still, I don't get why its ABS system needs more maintenance than a car :? And thanks for the reminder about the clutch fluid. And yes, I...

Is tank steel or alloy?
Maybe a moronic question, but I've been told that the R's tank is alloy so it doesn't need a full tank of gas for winter storage....any truth to this?

Who skips annual ABS service?
Hi guys, some advice needed. I've only put 2500kms on my R since my last ABS service...in spring of 2006! ...long story for the low kms, love the R, but with 2 kids, three bikes, countless projects, yada yada... Do I really need to service it for thr '08 season, and if so, why (mechanically s...
