Re: Rockster Rant
I love my Rockster too......but i think I did some damage when I used 87 octane gas. It was the only thing I could find, I was in the middle of nowhere. Since then, I have re-fueled a couple of times with 94 octane but it continues to ping. Did I kill my baby?

Re: Brake pads for 1150 Rockster
I am replacing the rear pads. I actually just bought a set of EBC. (I think they were a third of the price of the BMW pads) So far after 400 miles they appear to work great. I will see how they do in the long run. Depending on their performance I will decide what to get for the front.

Brake pads for 1150 Rockster
It is time to replace pads on my Rockster. It has nearly 15K miles. My question is, should I get the BMW pads or an after market brand. I have had several other bikes before I moved over to BMW and have always used EBC with good results. Any advise will be appreciated

Re: Hand guards
Hey Paul; How much do you want for them?Sunfire wrote:I have a pair of brand new hand guards (never installed) that came with my Rockster when I purchased it last year. I can't install them because I have a modified handlebar, but I'm willing to trade or sell.![]()
