yes, easy.

Unclip and remove the locking pin from cup on linkage (I removed the top one). Remove cup from ball (mine was tight).

Remove long bolt from rear of footrest bracket. Remove shifter lever, and clean up all mating surfaces. Grease bushes and sleeve.

Assemble and enjoy...

You have same symptoms as I had, so I am hopeful you will find dry bushes and nothing more expensive.

I missed the Boxhill meet due to work. I am working that Sunday too. I only work two Sundays per month, but they always seem to clash with things I want to do. I will see if I can swap a shift or something.
