All I have is the serial # ending with 78320. They don't put those plates on Italian R1150R's.

Does anyone know how to find out the date when the bike is made. Is there a date stamped somewhere on the frame????

I don't know if this is reliable, but someone told me if you spray your plates with hairspray, it would not show up on film. Just something someone told me....

I ride all year long . Hear in Sicily, the weather is excellent for riding all year around. Actually, I prefer riding in the winter, as it's not too hot or cold.

I noticed that on my bike when I only had a few km. The more you use the bike, it sort of blends in more. With 1,700km on mine, it's both the same amount of "blue".

Just curious to know, is there any difference between the 2004 and 2005 model year for the r1150r? I own a 2005, my friend wants a new one as well, but likes the titan silver, which I heard they don't offer anymore.

Hey Marc, my tool kit on my 2005 is only a screwdriver and a couple of fuses. Anybody else from Italy, who got only a screwdriver.......I've had a more complete tool kit on my VFR!!!!
