I made enquiries with BMW about getting it done, and they told me that the R12R would not be able to tolerate the load at start up. So I didn't bother.

But then again, BMW would say that. I know plenty of BMWs with HIDs, just not R12R's

I have just put a new set of Pilot Road 3's on my bike. When the guys put the tyres on, they were blown up to 2.5 front and 2.9 rear. I'm off to the south of France/ Switzerland for a week in the twisties of the Alps.
