Well no, I fixed all wires, and tried using a meter to see if voltage was an issue from frame, but no luck when I turn ignition on and off.

I have a 2002 R1150R has 102,000 miles on it, drove it from Weeki Wachee, Fl to central Michigan and back last month. Used only 89 octane averaged 70-75 mph got 50 MPG. Set my odometer on 000 and measured gas use every 200 miles.

I just purchased a 2002 non-ABS R1150R a few months ago. It runs fine but I noticed the wires to the headlight area had melted the plastic coating down to the copper wire. I removed the gas tank and saw a melted mess. Apparently the clock wire(Brown) was causing the problem. I purchased a used wirin...
