It is time to replace the original shocks on my 04 R1150R ABS. I have 52K miles. Can anyone give me a clue as to what this will cost me.

Purchases AmSoil 20w50 this afternoon. I don't have a AmSoil filter but will probably change both at 5000 miles (or six months) anyway. Thanks for the input.

Welcome !! I have an 04 R1150RA and started using Honda semi-synthetic (20W50 for down here in Louisiana) with a K&N filter and improved my gas mileage from around 48 to 50 mpg on the highway averaging approximately 70 mph.

J. C. Whitney has a nice top case that fits on the R's luggage rack and also doubles as a passenger backrest. It comes with mounting hardware and can be easily removed if you don't want or need it. I think I paid around $75 for this and it looks as good (to me anyway) as the Givi luggage.

I would like to thank Gypsy, CycleRob, et al., and especially Priapismic for all the work that was put into this weekend. The weather was outstanding and I really enjoyed meeting everyone. I had a great ride home and hope everyone did the same. I do hope to be communicating with all soon.
