I am seriously looking at the 2014 Honda Valkyrie , having owned 2 from previous generation , I am familiar with them.
They are on sale for $10500 , with the 1800cc Goldwing motor , plus TTL , that's a steal

Replacing the R1200R with what bike
I have driven my R 25K miles in the past 18 months and I am growing tired of it , tired of the vibes and stiff ride ............
What would you all be wanting if you were going to another bike ??
Upright rider , I wnat to put my feet flat on the ground , too

Re: Windshields for 2015 R1200R
The reason I ask is because Parabellum is NOT making a fairing for the 2015 R , but they do need a 2015 in their shop to fit a windshield to it . http://parabellum.com/ They told me this . If you are in their area or want to make a trip to their shop for , maybe , a free or discounted shield for you...

Re: New R1200R!
Sort of like the step between the R1150R and the original R1200R, it is just better. Try one, you'll like it. Bill Interesting , my mechanic says it's about half that much better , maybe he is off by half . Anyway , thanks for the warning , I ain't gonna ride one cuzz I don't want to spend the money

Sorry to disagree and I may be wrong , but , I believe the clamp on type is more adjustable like this one posted at the other forum http://www.r1200rforum.com/forum/bmw-r1200r-general-discussions-7/firs-impressions-wunderlich-screen-deflector-varioergo-17546/ I have the same one on my Parabellum I h...

Re: R1200R leg protectors to eliminate noise/buffeting
How tall are you and the shield ?? I am 5'8'' and have a 20'' screen with this on it http://www.mra.de/en/x-creen I now have no more buffeting , helmet shake from air coming over the top . Sometimes I get some turbulence from air coming from below , not over the top So you're happy with the Parabell...

Yes , very
BTW , Parabellum will not be making a fairing for the 2015 r1200r , because of the head light shape

The Ztechnik Vstream came with mine , made turbulence worse , that is the most awful excuse for a wind screen

I am guessing that Parabellum Scout Fairing will not work on this model , for one thing , the head light is in a very different place than the previous ones

Re: 2015 R1200R
I just now emailed Parabellum asking if they are gonna offer a scout fairing for the 2015 R1200R. They probably don't know yet . My guess is , the head light is square and the hole is round in the fairing , they do not fit . They'd have to change the the headlight to square and I believe in 40 years...
