Spoke to my local dealer in Ottawa, Ontario today (6 December) and he had the pricing and options sheet for the new K1200GT. Base price is $25,600(Cdn) -- that's about $2000 more than the base 2006 R1200RT. Options are about the same price as the RT, for eaxample, Zenon headlight ($500); ESA ($985);...

Warranty
In Canada, the warranty is 3 years, with unlimited mileage (remembering we have ice and snow in many areas from December-March).

They All Have It
Your dealer obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. All Rocksters have self-cancelling signals, though you'd never know that by reading the manual. I believe they shut off on the basis of a combination of time/distance, not how hard you press the button.

I had the dealer swap the bars when I bought the bike two years ago. The tech told me that everything fit just fine. Took him 5 hours to do the two bikes (my Rockster and the Roadster that the bars came from and which received my Rockster bars).
