I wish to ride there someday. I´m from Galicia (Spain) and I would be like home there (same music, rainy weather and green forest....).

Don't think so as stronger models like the R1100S as well as later 1150 models share the same parts with the R/GS breed. And I have comrads riding with similar config (or even more brutal config like upto 125 HP/125 NM) for quite some time without any defect or fault. Hence no problem. Brgds Oliver...

Try starting the engine to circulate the oil, only during five seconds.
Turn it off and look at the oil level window, you should see the oil level to rise in the oil level window.
Probably oil level in your bike is too high.
