It looks like the Bevel Box on your bikes are cast without the 2 mounting tabs on the rear to fix the 'hugger' to

Re: Items to be reproduced in Carbon Fibre

Hi all I have a PDF price list (inc pics) of my whole catalogue of parts - currently 1200+. Sorry, meant to say that if you would like a catalogue (if like me you have more than 1 bike) then drop me an email at adam@oecarbon.com and I'll get it over to you. All I can say on the timescale front is t...

Re: Items to be reproduced in Carbon Fibre

Hi all I have a PDF price list (inc pics) of my whole catalogue of parts - currently 1200+. I've been concentrating on larger markets, because I need to get the ball rolling so I can afford to invest in more niche markets like the Rockster. Because of the type of bike the Rockster is I'm really keen...

Re: Items to be reproduced in Carbon Fibre

Hi all

Apologies for not following this up as quickly as I'd have liked, I screwed my back a few weeks ago and have been out of action.

I'll hopefully have the pictures of the headguards/hand guards from my supplier soon and I'll be able to show you the quality

Can we get a shipping estimate for the cylinder head guards, to the United States - How about some pictures once produced? Thanks. Approx shipping is $23. Fully insured and with delivery confirmation with in an aimed 4 days. That's the first quote I have so I will look around to see if I could get ...

Items to be reproduced in Carbon Fibre

OK, here are the initial items. The poll is multi choice so please feel free to vote for what ever you like, and in 2 weeks I'll see which direction it's taken. Please remember that this is purely to record interest. If there is enough interest in certain items (I'm thinking 5-6 people) then I will ...

Re: Rockster carbon fibre availability

Guys, let me know if you have enough interest for me to start a poll on possible items. I see that as the next step towards getting the pieces you would like produced. I can open and leave for 2 weeks to see specifically what you guys are looking for?

Re: Rockster carbon fibre availability

I'm going to intentionally steer clear of trying to modify things because I don't want my business to be into 'aftermarket' parts, I'd like to try and stay as OE as possible. Speaking as a potential customer, I'd rather see innovation and improvements on the OE parts. My point of view comes from th...

Re: Rockster carbon fibre availability

Where are you based?? I have a set of (rather battered) Stantons you might be able to use for patterns? I'm either in Cambridgeshire or London (home or work). Scuffs and scrapes I can probably fill and make good for moulding. If there is enough interest I'd happily try? Guess we'll see if anybody e...

Re: Rockster carbon fibre availability

The cylinder guards would be great. How about carbon side panels, and a brow/sceen/cap (whatever it's called), similiar in design to that on the 1150GS but a staight mount-up to the rockster? Side Panels should be pretty straight forward, I could also do these in blue, yellow, red and green cf if p...

Re: Rockster carbon fibre availability

OK, If I can get a set of the original's (Stantons) I can get them produced in carbon and kevlar.

With the 1100S Cup covers, I can also get these made with a Kevlar strengthening inside because we all know CF doesn't really do abraision does it?

Re: Rockster carbon fibre availability

This is not in any way a tout for business, just an enquiry about how available parts are for you guys and if there is anything you would like to be able to buy but which might not be available right now? Thanks for considering us Rockster folks. Due to the small number of R1150R Roadsters and Rock...

Re: Rockster carbon fibre availability

One thing I might be interested in (and the R1150R boys might be too), would be a pillion seat replacement unit that is a lockable storage unit. imo, I'm not interested in replacing existing parts with CF bits - but a NEW item would be of interest, and if making it from CF means it's got extra stre...

Rockster carbon fibre availability

Hi guys I am working with the UKGSER forum to potentially produce some Carbon Fibre items for them as I am building my own product development and distribution company, working with an established Carbon Fibre supplier in the UK (and I started there as I own an 1150 Adv!). This is not in any way a t...
