Re: 2009 BLACK R1200R For Sale

Hey guys, I've gotten mixed info on values. She's parked; I'm not in a rush. Looking for an offer. MAXBMW had 3 in worse condition 13K plus. Wholesale is 9-10K. She'll be on the major sites in a couple weeks. Figured I'd give this audience first look.

Re: R1200R Test Drive Patch

Hey Folks I have not dropped this project, just thinking on it some more. :-k I have a production shop so it's not a matter of how, but what to produce. Patches are a bit stickier issue so I'll stay clear of those just now. I'd like to cost these out as fan decals and direct you to my contact info o...

Re: Intermittent Thermometer

Bummer David #-o So far, mine is working well. Same deal here: she lives in a garage and slowly brings up a reading when I push her out in these chilly mornings. As I move South from the hills towards the shoreline I find the temp accurately reflected. My fuel strip is a twitchy bird too. 8-[ I fill...

Welcome Patch! =D>

Did you go to MAX in Brookfield? They're having a BBQ Lunch this Saturday. I usually avoid the crowds, but might motor down there to represent our RR minority. :-k

Looking forward to some pics when you get her. Wishing you safe roads. [-o<

Re: Looking for Alpine White RR on CT Rt 202 Northbound

Cool! Good to run into you Michael. I was RTB on the one good commuting day this week. I turn off at Lake Waramaug. Caught up to you the otherside of Washington then turned back at Montessori School. Maybe I'll see you at the MAX Lunch next Saturday 5/7 - If the weather holds I might get down there....

Re: The stock seat...

Harry, guys like us from Jersey are just survivors. Our body parts need to be tougher! ;) From a New Englander: I'm OK with my stock low seat; good for my 1.5-2 hour commute each way. If I toured I would stop for gas and a stretch every 1.5 hours. Harder winters make for harder butts I guess... 8-[

As a RR newby, consider me freaked out as well. 8-[ Plus, I don't have quite the balance I once had. Still working with Don's list on the virtual kneeboard.

I figure it's a matter of time and miles. :-k

Re: Has anybody actually?

The other dealer suggested that I just buy the code, they would install the software, and bag the switch, giving me permanent ASC for a significant savings. Outside of spinning my way out of a sand trap (and I try to stay out of them), I can't see a downside to that approach.? Wow, for my conservat...

Aerodynamics report

Not what you might think, rather my daughter needed a subject for her school vehicle aerodynamics homework. :smt115 What could more challenging than BMW's Naked bike! :-k Alright, a GS for sure, but I don't have one of those. She snapped a pic when I came home today so she could print and draw lines...
