Re: What comes with an R1150R?
I purchased a new R1150R in 05 and got 2 keys, a tire repair kit and a joke of a tool kit that I have added to.and of course the manual but this site has it all for any newbie. Have fun and keep the shiny side up.

Re: REAR SUSPENSION PRELOAD ADJUSTER FAILURE
Thanks all, the little spring did what tiny springs do, jumped far away, so no more "click, click" but the pre load adjuster seems to work much better. It saved me from spending big bucks on an Ohlins. I'm sure it would be nice but HOW NICE ? This weekend is time for fork seals, air filter ...

REAR SUSPENSION PRELOAD ADJUSTER FAILURE
Has anyone had an issue with the preload adjuster knob working so hard that it just spins, that is, it strips like a 12 point socket rounding over a worn nut. this has worked hard since I bought the bike new in 2005. Should I repair it or change to an aftermarket shock? we ride 2 up often.

Re: Proud new R1150R owner
Nice new ride, I ordered the same color new in 05. I could have got an 04 for the same $ w/ABS but thought long term repair issues and went with no ABS. I removed the muff can, with no ill effects to make way for full size RT hard bags and lowered my wife' s foot pegs, she got long legs. And the rea...

AEROFLOW OR PARABELLUM ON ROADSTER ??
Thanks for previous input, now may be the time to pull the trigger. the cost is almost the same,so what would you do for cold weather and rain.? I live in Maine and plan a trip to Gaspe' this coming summer. The leg guards and tank wings are considered for either but the parabellum looks a little sle...

Re: turning a roadster into a RT
OK I'm going to keep my bike and fair it up. maintaining 2 bikes is a pain. now the choice seems to be Aeroflow or Parabellum. which one ? I think the tank wings and perhaps leg guards would be nice. Life was easier when i just had a R75/5. I still have the old bike and owned it since new. I'll keep...

turning a roadster into a RT
Is it worth it ? I've added full size hard case's, a nice leather saddle, lowered the rear pegs and added a back rest for the wife, now, should I take the plunge and get a windshield and tank wings, and perhaps hand guards ? If so, should I go with Aeroflow, C-Bailey, or Parrabellum. Am I wasting my...
